SRP has been manufacturing custom gasket solutions for customers in a variety of industries since 1951. Using SRP’s Waterjet cutting services, custom shapes and parts can be cut with a whole new level of accuracy and reliability. Streams of water, pressurized at up to 50,000 psi, create a jet of water that travels over 2.5 times the speed of sound. Released through a precision orifice as small as 0.003 inches in diameter, the jet forms a stream, which quickly and precisely cuts through a wide range of custom selected materials from the softest elastomers to rigid plastics.
Advantages of Waterjet Cutting:
Accuracy and reliability
Ideal for cutting thicker materials
Can cut through plastics and high durometer materials
SRP’s die-less reciprocating knife cutting table is the ultimate, cost-effective solution for small and medium production runs. Utilizing an oscillating knife, and a cutting area of 1550mm x 3050mm, this system is the perfect solution for larger gaskets and shapes. Reciprocating knife cutting is also ideal for rapid prototyping. The powerful yet easy to use control software with the cutting-edge automatic, interactive nesting software are key components to the Flashcut’s points of strength, making it the ideal cutting solution for SRP’s diverse set of customers, allowing us to convert a variety of non-metallic materials.
Through service, continuous improvements, and a dedicated workforce, SRP has solidified itself as a leader in the converting and die-cutting industry since 1951.
SRP has been ISO 9001 certified since 1994. In 2017, we updated our certification to ISO 9001:2015. This certification sets out the criteria for a quality management system, and is currently being used by over one million companies and organizations in over 170 countries.
This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.
Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, high quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits. Through continuous improvements, SRP solidifies itself as an industry leader when it comes to quality.

Custom Adhesive Backed Solutions
SRP specializes in technologies to laminate adhesive products to foam, sponge, rubber, cork, adhesive & non-adhesive tapes, textiles, and similar materials.
We can combine single or multi-layer lamination, liner removal, slitting & rewinding in wide web or narrow widths, and sheeting. A Class 10,000 clean room environment is optional. SRP works with a wide variety of adhesives from suppliers such as 3M™, Avery, CCT, and Adchem.
Our automatic slitting process can covert master logs of all thicknesses into custom widths for a variety of sealing applications.
Our single knife lathe slitter is the ideal automatic slitting machine for a variety of small to large diameter materials including adhesive and non-adhesive tapes, self-adhesive tapes, VHB, foam & laminated foams, non-asbestos & cork materials, textiles & non-wovens, rubber, roofing membranes, & similar products with a maximum outside diameter of 600mm (23 5/8”).
Our automatic log slitter has an advanced control system, and incorporates dual axis servo or linear motor control for both indexing and cutting which results in a higher degree of slitting accuracy and overall performance. This robust machine is ideally suited for heavy duty slitting operations and companies like SRP that convert a wide range of materials in varying diameters, thicknesses and widths.
