HT-820 Firm Silicone Foam

HT-840 Extra-Firm Silicone Foam

Rogers BISCO® HT-840 Extra Firm Cellular Silicone provides enhanced durability with the excellent sealing properties of sponge rubber. BISCO HT-840 Extra Firm Cellular Silicone is a very firm grade silicone foam that offers superior sealing capabilities. HT-840 silicone provides a higher tear and tensile strength than our lighter grade foams. HT-840 silicone is designed for use in enclosures requiring a more durable, high closure force gasket. This material is also ideal for use in press pads requiring greater conformability and even pressure distribution at high temperatures. HT-870 Soft Silicone Foam

Rogers BISCO HT-870 Soft Cellular Silicone is a firmer, denser version of our BF-1000 Silicone and offers the ability to seal and cushion within a wide range of applications. BISCO HT-870 Soft Cellular Silicone is ideal for sealing outdoor enclosures, protecting electronics from shock and heat and providing cushioning and vibration isolation. BF-2000 Ultra Soft Silicone Foam

Rogers BISCO® BF-2000 Ultra Soft flame retardant foam offers the perfect balance of low weight and softness for transportation, industrial and electronics applications. BISCO BF-2000 Ultra Soft is a highly compressible silicone foam with the right combination of low weight and softness for applications requiring low closure force and dust sealing. BF-2000 silicone’s ultra-low softness allows designers to use less force to seal enclosures while still protecting devices from the environment. RS-700 Industrial Silicone Sponge

Rogers BISCO® RS-700 Silicone Sponge Series is a line of high-performance closed-cell, high strength sponges that complement the BISCO® Silicones portfolio. The BISCO® RS-700 Series of closed cell silicone sponges are designed to perform in conditions that require a gasket with extra strength and durability. RS-700 products provide high tensile strength and elongation, low compression set and a smooth surface to laminate and bond adhesives. These materials are rugged enough to outperform competitors in harsh environments that require silicone material. RS-700 products are available in continuous roll form in three firmness grades. These products are currently available for sale only in North America, Central America, South America and Asia.

RS-800 Series Flame Resistant

Rogers BISCO® RS-800 series, a new alternative to the BISCO® HT-800 series, is a closed cell silicone sponge designed for high-performance sealing. The BISCO RS-800 series is trusted in a variety of applications, for gasketing and gap filling, including electrical enclosures, lighting fixtures and transportation.

BISCO RS-800 products exhibit excellent flame resistance to UL94 V-0, a compression set of below 5%, as well as high tensile strength and elongation. These properties make BISCO RS-Series materials resilient, enabling them to outperform competitive materials in challenging environments where superior silicone performance is needed.

BISCO RS-Series materials are available in continuous roll form and four firmness grades — soft, medium, firm and very firm — to suit a wide range of applications. While the BISCO RS-800 series is a cellular silicone sponge alternative to BISCO HT-800, there are some differences between the two products. Flame Resistant Sponge Silicone

Rogers BISCO® Flame Resistant Sponge Silicones are closed cell silicone sponge sheet materials designed for flame-resistant applications. BISCO Flame Resistant Sponge Silicones are closed cell silicone sponge sheets, available in three grades: soft, medium and firm.

  • BISCO® 7130 silicone is a soft firmness flame-resistant silicone and meets BMS 1-60 Type 1, Grade A and DMS-1980 Grade 1, Soft specifications. BISCO® 7130 Series is a drop in replacement for BISCO® 7129 Series

BISCO HT-200 Sound Block materials are made of silicone elastomers specifically designed to both reduce sound transmission within interior spaces and prevent the spread of fire and smoke. IF-200 Tear Resistant Foam

Rogers BISCO® IF-200 foam is an abrasion-resistant material that can withstand harsh environments with minimal risk of tearing. BISCO IF-200 foam is the ideal foam for use in harsher environments where strength is critical. IF-200 foam consists of a fiberglass support layer that is directly bonded to our world-class BF-1000 foam during processing. This fiberglass layer provides resistance against abrasion and tear while serving as a flexible, yet supportive base for mechanical installation.

Rogers BISCO® RF-120 silicone is a specialty reflective foam capable of both insulating against heat and reflecting it away. BISCO RF-120 heat shield is a reflective foam designed to aid in heat management applications. RF-120 foam both insulates against heat and reflects it away. This specialty silicone composite consists of a smooth aluminized fabric and our lower density BF-1000 foam. RF-120 foam is widely used in commercial, professional and military vehicles.

FPC Silicone Fire Barrier

Rogers BISCO® FPC Fire Protective Covering is a patented specialty silicone foam designed to resist flame burn-through at extremely high temperatures. BISCO Fire Protective Covering (FPC) is a high performance specialty silicone foam designed to protect sensitive components from fire damage. This patented material can resist the burn-through of flames while reducing the spread of flames to other areas. FPC silicone is typically wrapped around cables or electronics, but can also be used as a barrier curtain or blanket on airplanes or in fire suits.

MSK-2 Kevlar Foam

Rogers BISCO® MSK-2 foam is a Kevlar reinforced silicone foam designed specifically for high performance aircraft use. BISCO MSK-2 Kevlar foam is a soft silicone elastomer foam reinforced with Kevlar on both sides. The silicone foam is casted directly onto the Kevlar substrate, without the need for an adhesive layer. MSK-2 Kevlar foam is engineered to perform in the most demanding aircraft and is ideal for use in aircraft cargo components, expansion joint sealing and fire protection covering with high tear resistance.
