Why Engineers Choose SSP2573-75
- Fuel, Oil, and Solvent Resistance – The fluorosilicone base is designed for environments exposed to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, solvents, and jet fuel.
- Strong EMI/RFI Shielding Performance – Silver-plated copper filler delivers high conductivity and strong shielding performance across a broad frequency range.
- MIL-DTL-83528 Type C, QPL Listed – A strong fit for aerospace, defense, and other specification-driven EMI gasket applications.
- Built for Harsh Environments – Combines conductive shielding performance with the environmental resistance that standard silicone cannot provide.
- Common CHO-SEAL® 1217 Alternative – A familiar cross-reference for engineers evaluating conductive fluorosilicone EMI gasket materials.
Applications
- Aerospace electronics exposed to fuels or hydraulic fluids
- Avionics enclosures, missile systems, radar equipment
- Military vehicles and tactical communication systems
- Chemical-processing instrumentation and industrial machinery
- Connector gaskets, door and panel seals, and access-cover gaskets
- Any EMI shielding interface where standard silicone would degrade due to fluid exposure
