The expanSil™ XR family is an ultra-low compression set, closed-cell silicone sponge extrusion range designed for the most demanding sealing applications. Formulated for environments requiring extreme temperature resistance and extended service life, XR materials are ideal for applications where seal replacement is difficult or impractical. The family provides excellent resistance to ozone, UV, and weathering, making it well suited for long-term sealing in harsh operating conditions.

- Offered as cords, profiles, strips, and sections
- Available with pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA), joined rings, and gaskets
- Capable of meeting ASTM D1056 2D classifications (by grade)
