BISCO® HT-870 is a soft cellular silicone foam designed for applications that require conformability, low closure force, cushioning, and reliable environmental sealing. It is a strong choice for custom gaskets and seals used in outdoor enclosures, electronics, lighting, HVAC units, communication equipment, and other assemblies that need a softer compression profile.
HT-870 is firmer and denser than BISCO® BF-1000, while still maintaining low closure force and conformability. Its softness allows enclosure designs to seal with less force while helping protect components from dust, moisture, shock, heat, vibration, and long-term gasket failure caused by compression set or softening.
