expanSil™ THT is a closed-cell, extruded silicone sponge family designed for applications that require additional high-temperature resistance up to 270°C (518°F). Through our preferred supplier relationship, SRP helps customers identify the right THT grade and source the material for sealing, insulation, and gap-filling applications exposed to elevated temperatures.
In addition to high-heat performance, expanSil THT provides strong resistance to ozone, UV, and weathering, along with flame-retardant performance. It is a strong fit when standard silicone sponge temperature capability may not be enough and the application requires dependable closed-cell sealing in demanding thermal environments.
