The expanSil™ FDA family is a food-grade, closed-cell silicone sponge extrusion range formulated for use in applications requiring direct food contact compliance. Fully approved by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), these materials are commonly used in food processing machinery, sealing systems, and hygienic environments. The FDA family provides excellent resistance to ozone, UV, and weathering, along with reliable sealing performance across a wide temperature range, making it suitable for demanding food, beverage, and pharmaceutical applications.
