BISCO® BF‑1000 is an extra-soft, closed-cell silicone foam engineered for applications requiring gentle sealing, vibration isolation, and thermal protection. Its high compressibility and low closure force make it ideal for sealing enclosures without exerting excessive pressure on delicate components.

- Compression Set: Low, ensuring long-term sealing performance
- Flammability Rating: UL 94 V‑0
- Service Temperature Range: –55 °C to +200 °C (–67 °F to +392 °F)
- Resistance: Excellent resistance to UV, ozone, extreme temperatures, and flame
- Thickness Range: Available from 0.063″ to 0.500″ (1.6 mm to 12.7 mm)
- Color: Typically white, gray, or black
