Overview
BISCO® HT-800 is a medium-firm closed-cell silicone foam that unites the lightweight properties of foam with enhanced sponge-like sealing performance. It delivers dependable gasket and cushioning solutions, excelling in environments requiring long-term sealing, compression recovery, and flame resistance.
Features
- Balanced medium-firm structure (approx. 22 lb/ft³) offers a soft feel yet strong seal.
- Compression Force Deflection (25%): about 9 psi for reliable sealing resistance.
- Extremely low compression set: under 1% at 70 °C and up to 5% at 100 °C.
- UL 94 V-0 and HF-1 flame-rated, with very low smoke and toxic emissions.
- Wide operating range: from –55 °C to +200 °C (continuous use).
- Highly resistant to UV, ozone, extreme temperatures, and flame.
- Available in multiple colors (black, gray, red) and thicknesses (0.031″ to 0.500″), with options for pressure-sensitive adhesive or die-cutting.
- FDA-compliant for food-contact use.
