BISCO® HT-870 Soft Silicone Foam

BISCO® HT-870 is a soft, closed-cell silicone foam engineered to provide reliable sealing and cushioning in demanding environments. Its excellent memory and low stress relaxation reduce maintenance costs associated with gasket failures due to compression set and softening. HT-870’s softness allows designers to use less force to seal enclosures while still protecting devices from the environment.

  • Compression Force Deflection (25%): 2–7 psi (14–48 kPa)
  • Compression Set: Low, ensuring long-term sealing performance
  • Flammability Rating: UL 94 V-0
  • Service Temperature Range: –55 °C to +200 °C (–67 °F to +392 °F)
  • Resistance: Excellent resistance to UV, ozone, extreme temperatures, and flame
  • Thickness Range: Available from 0.063″ to 0.500″ (1.6 mm to 12.7 mm)
  • Color: Typically red
