Why Engineers Choose SSP2571-85
- High-Durometer Silicone for Rigid Gasket Designs – The 85 Shore A silicone base supports defined edges, higher sealing force, and dimensional stability in large-frame and flat-gasket applications.
- MIL-DTL-83528 Type K, QPL Listed – A strong fit for specification-driven military, aerospace, telecom, and industrial EMI gasket programs.
- Strong EMI/RFI Shielding Performance – Silver-plated copper filler provides high conductivity and robust shielding performance for demanding electronic enclosures.
- Built for Higher Compression Applications – Well suited for designs where softer conductive elastomers may deform too easily under load.
- Common CHO-SEAL® 1212 Alternative – A familiar cross-reference for engineers evaluating high-durometer conductive silicone EMI gasket materials.
Applications
- Military and aerospace enclosures requiring rigid EMI gasket structures
- Large flat-panel gaskets, hatch seals, and precision frame gaskets
- High-force compression zones where softer elastomers would deform
- Defense communication systems, radar, and hardened electronics
- Industrial or telecom equipment demanding consistent EMI performance over long service life
