Silver-Copper Silicone EMI Shielding Elastomer
SSP2569-65 (Type A)
High-Conductivity Silicone for Precision-Cut EMI/RFI Gaskets
SSP2569-65 is a 65-durometer, silver-plated copper filled silicone elastomer engineered to meet the requirements of MIL-DTL-83528 Type A. With excellent shielding effectiveness and stable mechanical properties, this material is widely used for EMI/RFI gasketing in military, aerospace, industrial electronics, and communication equipment.
Material Overview
- Base Polymer: Silicone (65 Shore A)
- Conductive Filler: Silver-plated copper
- Specification: Manufactured to meet MIL-DTL-83528 Type A
- Shielding Effectiveness: ≥110 dB at 10 GHz (plane-wave shielding per MIL-DTL-83528 test methods). Typical performance across 20 MHz–10 GHz when properly installed
- Temperature Range: Continuous use: −55°C to +125°C (per MIL-DTL-83528 Type A). Short-term excursions may vary—verify for application conditions
- Form Availability: Supplied by SSP as sheet material and formulated compound; SRP converts into finished gasket geometries (SRP does not mold or extrude materials)
Key Features
