KLINGERSIL® C-4401
Overview
Thermoseal’s KLINGERSIL C-4401 ring gasket is a compressed fiber material with excellent chemical and sealability characteristics while being reasonably priced. C-4401 is manufactured from synthetic fibers with a Nitrile binder system and is an exceptional gasket material for sealing liquids in high temperature applications.
Features
- Excellent chemical resistance – Suitable for use with water, steam, oils, fuels, and many aggressive chemicals
- Made with aramid fibers and NBR binder – Offers strong mechanical strength and good flexibility
- Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 250°C (482°F)
- High compressibility and recovery – Ensures reliable sealing even on uneven or damaged flange surfaces
- Good creep relaxation resistance – Maintains seal integrity over long service periods
- Asbestos-free and environmentally friendly
- Commonly used in chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and general industrial applications
