The expanSil™ FR family is a flame-retardant, closed-cell silicone sponge extrusion range formulated for extreme temperature applications requiring additional flame resistance. Designed for reliable sealing performance, FR materials are commonly used for joined gaskets, gap fillers, and flexible sealing solutions in demanding environments. The FR family offers excellent resistance to ozone, UV, and weathering, along with long service life and consistent sealing performance across multiple density options.

- Low water absorption (<5%)
- Available with pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing
